If you've used Wipster's review links, you know the drill. New version of the video? New link. Wrong password setting? New link. Forgot to add a stakeholder? New link, and another round of "hey, use this one instead" emails.
We've wanted to fix this for a long time. Today, we have.
Share and review links in Wipster are now fully editable.
Previously, a share link was a snapshot, and once created, it was locked. Any update required generating a new link entirely. That created friction: extra steps for your team, confusion for reviewers who weren't sure which link was current, and the administrative overhead of tracking everything down.
Now, a share link is a living thing. You control what's in it, who can access it, and how, at any time.
Update the media. Push a new version or swap the project entirely. Your reviewers click the same link they've always had and see the latest content automatically. No re-sends, and no confusion about which version is current.
Clean up old content. Remove previous versions or pieces of media that are no longer relevant. Keep your links focused on what matters right now.
Fix settings without starting over. Realize you forgot to enable download permissions? Password was wrong? Commenting was accidentally turned off? Fix it directly on the existing link, your reviewers don't need to do anything.
Navigate to the Reviews tab in Wipster. Click on any existing share link and the editing panel will open. Every element of the link is available to modify from there.
