Adobe Premiere Rush Now Available on Android

Featured Image

Last October Adobe introduced Premiere Rush, the first all-in-one cross-device video editing application. The unfortunate fact was that this new tool was only available on iOS, leaving Android users out in the cold. Today, however, things change. Rush for Android is now available via the Google Play and Samsung Galaxy App Stores.

Let’s take a closer look.

Video Editing. Simplified.

Think of Rush as essentially a slimmed down version of Adobe Premiere Pro, where everything syncs to the cloud. With all of the most powerful editing tools and features still in place, the minimal interface makes for a very easy editing experience, especially on a mobile device. The intuitive setup makes video editing accessible for any user. If you’re new to the world of video editing, you’ll be up and cutting in no time.

The Interface

One of the main features I love about Premiere Rush is the fact that the mobile application has all of the same tools as the Rush desktop application. This is not the case with most mobile versions of popular software applications. The Adobe Premiere Clip mobile app is a perfect example of this—while Premiere Clip works in conjunction with Premiere Pro, the interface is drastically different.

Features

Premiere Rush packs powerful capabilities from Adobe’s professional tools like Premiere Pro and Audition into one simplified workflow that’s been optimized for Android devices. It integrates intuitive editing, simplified color correction, AI-powered audio clean up, customizable Motion Graphics templates, and publishing—all into one easy-to-use solution that works seamlessly across desktop and mobile.

Streamlined Workflows

As I mentioned earlier, Premiere Rush automatically syncs all projects and edits to the cloud, allowing you to access the most up-to-date versions whenever you need. This gives you the freedom to work from anywhere, on any device. And, with a consistent user experience across mobile phones and desktop computers, you can start a project on one device and publish from another all without missing a beat.

If you’re producing a lot of video content for social media, you’ll definitely want Rush in your arsenal. While you’re out in the field you can very quickly capture and share content to social media. Adobe has made it easy to capture in social media-friendly resolutions, such as vertical and square formats. Automate your uploads to YouTube and Facebook, and perfectly crop and position content for Instagram Stories and your feed. Access these assets at a later time on your desktop via the cloud.

Pricing and Availability
